Attorney
Dale R. Sobel, Esq. | Principal Attorney
Dale was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He immigrated to the United States with his family in 1994 to escape the prevailing crime that plagued the country. He personally experienced the U.S. immigration process and understands the unique emotional, psychological, and financial hardship that families encounter. It was through this experience that Dale realized his passion to provide ethical, competent legal representation founded on compassion.
Dale was educated in the United States and received his Bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University and graduated from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, the Cobb County Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Dale is licensed to practice before the Georgia Superior Courts, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the Federal Immigration Court under the U.S. Department of Justice.
Before founding The Sobel Firm, LLC, Dale was a law clerk and associate attorney for a prominent immigration law firm for a number of years. He assisted and represented many clients in a variety of cases, ranging from family based visas and naturalization to removal defense before the Immigration Courts. In addition to the Immigration Courts, Dale has also assisted in case preparation and filings before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the National Visa Center (NVC), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).
